Chase & Status Live - European Tour
We’ve just finished producing the visuals for Chase & Status who are now on tour around the UK and Europe. For more info on their tour dates please check here. We created a total of 15 original visual tracks that incorporated the bands various vocal collaborations with a wealth of motion graphics and animation by the likes of BlinkinLab, SparkAV and the art direction skills of designer Mitchy Bwoy and a host of other creative talent. TRUE FICTIONS @ THE WATERFRONT - BELFAST
True Fictions continues to tour the UK in 2009 with a special FREE performance in Belfast’s amazing Waterfront concert venue on saturday the 25th of July. The show is being organised by Catalyst Arts as part of thier summer programme Capitalyst Arts and part of the TRANS festival; now in its third year and featuring a multitude of events embracing new trends, art forms, cultures and technologies. click here for more information.
LEGACY NOW YOUTH PANNEL @ CREATE 09 FESTIVAL - London
The Light Surgeons will be presenting a special one-off audio visual installation with the LDA’s Legacy Now Youth Pannel at the Hackney Ocean venue as part of the Create 09 Festival on Friday 17th of July. They will be creating a large 3D model of the Olympic site which will brought to life with sound and moving image. The project is a collaboration with Fundamental, an organization that is leading the field in youth engagement in architecture and the built environment. More info on the event info here.

The Light Surgeons will be presenting TRUE FICTIONS, their live audio visual performance project at the LOOP FESTIVAL in Brighton on the 11th of July. Tickets are availble here.
Adobe Inspired Media Talk @ Curzon Soho - London
The Light Surgeons founder and director Christopher Thomas Allen will be giving a talk at the Adobe Inspired Media seminar at the Curzon Cinema, Soho, London on the Tuesday 28th of April.

HOME @ SXSW - Austin
Chris Allen and Rob Rainbow’s short film HOME continues to tour to international film festivals! This month screening at the acclaimed Austin independant film (and music) festival, South by Southwest on the 15th and 17th of March.

DIALOG @ THE BIENNALE CUVÉE - Linz
The installation “Dialog” by The Light Surgeons founder and director Christopher Thomas Allen continues to tour various international art exhibitions. It is currently part of the BIENNALE CUVÉE, a collection of art works selected from all the international art biennales in 2008, exhibited at the OK Center for Contemporary Art in Linz, Austria. The exhibition is also part of the offical program for Linz as the European Capital of Culture for 2009. More information on the exhibition can be found here.
